Your regular checking account provides easy access to your money. The minimum deposit to open a regular checking account is only $25. As a bonus, there’s no fee for senior citizens (age 65 and older) and students 21 years of age or younger.
The monthly service fee for the regular checking account is based off a tiered fee and your average daily balance. Your average daily balance is calculated by adding the principal in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period.
