List Of Services

The Community State Bank is a full-service independent Community Bank located in the town of Paton, Iowa. Our hours of service are 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays. The following is a list of loan and deposit products offered to our customers.

The Types of Credit Offered:

  1. Agricultural credit of every kind. Including farm operating, livestock feeding, equipment financing, feeding facility loans, automobile, and trucks as well as agribusiness loans. Loans are made entirely on bank programs and for appropriate occasions in cooperation with the Farm Service Agency (f.k.a. Rural Economic and Community Development Agency) Small Business Administration, and Farm Credit Services.
  2. All types of business loans. Including loans for inventory, buildings, equipment, and modernization.
  3. All types of personal loans. Including family expenses, automobiles, trucks, household goods, and consumer goods, payable either on single payment or installment.
  4. Real Estate Mortgage Loans. Loans are made in the area for homes, purchase and construction, home improvement loans, etc. Loans made on conventional basis and in connection with Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation, Federal Housing Administration and Veterans Administration. Loans are considered on reasonably good property and to any reasonably qualified buyer regardless of location, place of employment, etc. Loans are made for the purchase of farm real estate, farm improvements, additions, etc. Real estate mortgage loans for homes, farm real estate and business real estate are made when the size of the same and the availability of loanable funds make the loan prudent. Every effort is made to secure such other outside funds from Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation, Farm Service Agency (f.k.a. Rural Economic and Community Development Agency), Farm Credit Services, Farm Mortgage loan companies as well as insurance companies.

Deposit Accounts

The website details a list of deposit accounts (i.e. Regular Checking, Passbook Savings, Money Market Savings, Time Deposits, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s), etc.) and their fee structure available to customers. Customers are able to manage their accounts via the Internet with Online Banking as well as the use of Mobile banking. Customers are able to receive account statements electronically as e-statements or the traditional format.
